Ineligible Purchases

Not all purchases qualify for Skew Points. Some types of spending are excluded based on standard industry codes, also known as Merchant Category Codes (MCCs).

Examples of ineligible purchases may include:

  • Cash equivalents (like money orders or prepaid cards)
  • Gambling or betting transactions
  • Gift card purchases
  • Certain financial services

These exclusions are common across most card reward programs and help keep the system fair and secure.

Before making a large purchase, you can check the merchant type or ask support if you're unsure whether it qualifies for points.
