When a refund affects a transaction that earned or used Skew Points, the system adjusts your account to reflect the true value of that purchase.
Here’s what that means:
- Points earned – If you earned points on a purchase that gets refunded, those points will be removed at the same rate they were awarded.
- Points spent – If you used points toward a reward that becomes refundable (like a gift card cancellation), the points may be returned to your account, depending on the situation.
- No cash value – Skew Points cannot be exchanged for cash, but they retain full value within the Skew rewards system as long as they are active and valid.
Everything is handled automatically, and you can always see your updated points history in your dashboard.
