Skew Ambassador is for creators and community leaders who want to bring their audience to Skew. Your Ambassador bonus comes on top of the normal Referral Rewards.
Your Referral Reward comes with every friend who joins, and its amount is set per membership: today 5 CHF for Basic, 50 CHF for VIP and 500 CHF for Elite, and it can change. On top, you earn an Ambassador bonus of 100 CHF for each full 1'000 CHF sold. In the mixed example, 11'500 CHF holds 11 full 1'000s: 1'100 CHF; the remaining 500 CHF counts toward your next bonus.
Upgrades count too. The Referral Reward is paid once per friend, on their first membership. The Ambassador bonus also counts every upgrade, for the difference your referral pays. Example: a friend buys Basic for 100 CHF, then upgrades to VIP and pays the 900 CHF difference. You receive the 5 CHF Referral Reward once, on the Basic purchase, and your sales count 100 + 900 = 1'000 CHF: a 100 CHF Ambassador bonus.
All Ambassador bonuses are credited in CHF as lending credit to your bonus balance. Use them in Member Lending within 30 days: once lent, they become real money, paid back with interest like any loan.
Your free VIP comes with one condition: within 6 months of your VIP activation, your referrals must buy at least 2'000 CHF of memberships. We remind you 30 and 7 days before the deadline. If you reach it, the SKW locked for your VIP stay yours: they are not taken back when the lock ends. If you do not, the free VIP is withdrawn automatically at the deadline and the SKW Skew locked for it go back to Skew. The Ambassador bonuses you have already earned stay yours.
The 6 months start on the day your VIP membership is activated. You can follow your progress toward 2'000 CHF, with the deadline, on the Ambassador page of the Skew app.
The same VIP membership members buy for 1'000 CHF, activated by Skew for you. Already a Basic member? Your free VIP is an upgrade: Skew adds the difference to your lock, and the SKW you had locked for your Basic are credited to your SKW balance. Already VIP? Your free VIP starts a new 180-day lock, and the SKW you had locked for your VIP are credited to your SKW balance. Members with Elite or a higher membership cannot receive the free VIP.
The free VIP does not include a Welcome Bonus. The app always shows the current benefits of each membership.

No. Once your application is accepted, Skew activates your VIP membership by locking the SKW for it on your behalf. You do not pay the 1'000 CHF price.
We add up the CHF value of the memberships bought by members who signed up with your referral link or code, whether paid with money or with SKW. An upgrade counts for the difference the member pays. Free upgrades, memberships granted by Skew and refunded memberships do not count.

The Referral Reward works differently: it is paid once per friend, on their first membership. Example: Basic for 100 CHF, then an upgrade to VIP for the 900 CHF difference: 5 CHF Referral Reward on the first purchase, and 1'000 CHF sold, which is a 100 CHF Ambassador bonus.
